HUBUNGAN STRES KERJA DENGAN KINERJA PEKERJA SEKRETARIAT DPRD KOTA SAMARINDA
Abstract
One of the most common work problem is job stress. Job stress may cause problems in work environment so it may cause a risk of loss toward workers and their institution. This research aims to determine the relationship between job stress and secretariat worker performance in DPRD Kota Samarinda. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with 79 respondents. This research is an observational analytic study with cross-sectional approach.The sampling method used was purposive sampling with 79 respondents. Data were obtained using questionnaire. The result of this research were 94,4% of workers experienced medium category of job stress and majority (51,9%) experienced work performance included in high category. Statistical analysis showed that there was no relationship between job stress and secretariat worker performance with chi square test (p=0,065 ; p>0,05).
