HUBUNGAN KADAR HBA1C DENGAN INSOMIA PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II DI PUSKESMAS WONOREJO SAMARINDA
Abstract
Type II diabetes mellitus is the most common form of diabetes mellitus (95% more), if blood sugar levels in patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus can cause the most common sleep disturbance is insomnia. One examination of blood sugar levels is by measuring HbA1c levels to determine the average blood sugar level for approximately 3 months. This study aimed to determine the relationship of HbA1c levels with insomnia in patients with type II diabetes mellitus at the Wonorejo Health Center.This study was an observational analytic study with a case control method. Respondents of the study were patients with type II diabetes mellitus in the Wonorejo health center using consecutive sampling technique. The results of statistical analysis with the Chi-Square test obtained p = 0.020 (p <0.05), so that. There is a correlation between HbA1c levels and insomnia in patients with type II diabetes mellitus.
