HUBUNGAN PERILAKU PERSONAL KEBERSIHAN GENITALIA TERHADAP KEJADIAN KEPUTIHAN PATOLOGIS PADA MAHASISWI FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS MULAWARMAN

Abstract

Fluor albus is one of reproductive truct infections that commonly occur in women. Vaginal discharge experienced in 75% women and 45% of them experience vaginal discharge twice or even more. Poor behavior in caring for genital organs can lead to pathological vaginal discharge.  The aim of this research is understanding the relationship between personal hygiene of genitalia with pathological fluor albus incidence.  This research was an analytical observational with cross sectional approach. The research samples were 148 medical students of Mulawarman University, taken using total sampling technique. The data was analyzed using chi-square statistical test. The result of this research showed that 51,4% Mulawarman University medical students have positive personal hygiene due to genitalia. The relationship between personal hygiene of genitalia with pathological fluor albus incidence showed p=0.000 so.  There was a relationship between personal hygiene genitalia behavior and pathological fluor albus.
